Paphos Navy

Alchemy Fabric

Paphos Navy from Fryett's Fabrics has a deep midnight base with a quiet woven sheen that lifts the repeating curved motif. The design reads tonal rather than bold, giving the surface depth without losing its tailored navy character.

About this fabric

Woven in 56% cotton and 44% polyester, this fabric has a balanced handle and a smooth, close weave that supports both upholstery and drapery use. The 140cm width gives good coverage for larger schemes, and the 0cm pattern repeat makes matching straightforward across the full expanse. Visually, Paphos Navy is a very dark, cool navy with fine lighter navy lines tracing the looping pattern, so the motif appears subtle until the light catches it. The overall effect is smart and restrained, with enough texture to soften plain navy while keeping the finish polished.

How to use it

Use Paphos Navy on a sofa, dining chair, or Roman blind where its dark tonal pattern can add depth without dominating. It pairs well with chalky neutrals, pale oak, and brushed brass for a crisp, tailored room.

A refined navy with a subtle woven sheen that suits tailored upholstery or elegant curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
