About this fabric

This Alderney fabric is made from 100% polyester and measures 140cm wide, with a 0cm pattern repeat for straightforward matching. The design pairs dark denim-blue stripes with soft cream-beige grounds and fine pinstripes, giving the cloth a classic coastal feel without looking stark. The weave reads as a neat herringbone-like texture within the stripes, which adds depth and keeps the finish from feeling flat. It is a versatile fabric suitable for both upholstery and drapery, depending on the look you want to achieve. The overall effect is smart but easy-going, with the blue appearing rich and slightly softened rather than bright or glossy.

How to use it
