About this fabric

The dark blue face is enlivened by fine, irregular flecks and slightly lighter threads, giving the colour depth rather than a flat, uniform finish. A softly vertical grain is visible through the weave, while the subdued contrast keeps the overall effect composed and smart. At 247 gsm and 140 cm usable width, this mid-weight textile is suited to both upholstery and drapery. With a 0 cm vertical and horizontal repeat, the plain-textured design does not require pattern matching.

How to use it

Use Pianura Denim as a grounding upholstery or curtain colour where its cool, inked blue can contrast with warm wood and soften against chalky or stone-toned neutrals. The subtle vertical grain adds quiet texture without introducing a decorative repeat.

Balance the cool denim depth with warm timber, pale neutrals or brushed metal.
