About this fabric
Woven in 100% polyester, Modena Delft Blue is specified for contract use and carries an 80,000 Martindale rating, making it a practical choice for heavy-use seating. The fabric is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, with other treatments available upon request, and can be professionally dry cleaned in situ or washed at 40°C, subject to the pattern book guidance. Visually, this colourway is a deep blue-black with a fine, cloudy texture that softens the solid plain ground. It has a cool, restrained character that feels richer in low light and shows subtle tonal movement across the surface.
How to use it
Use this shade on banquettes, compact sofas or dining chairs where a deep blue can add depth without reading too bright. It pairs well with pale timber, brushed metal and quieter neutrals that let the mottled surface do the work.
