About this fabric

Part of the Modena collection by J Brown, this plain fabric is made from 100% polyester and specified for contract use. The swatch shows a cool flint grey ground with subtle beige-brown undertones and a lightly clouded texture that catches the light in a chalky, weathered way. With an 80,000 Martindale rating and back coating to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, it is built for hard-wearing upholstery schemes where a calm neutral is needed. The washable @ 40°C care option and professional dry clean in situ instruction make it a practical choice for busy interiors.

How to use it

Use Modena Flint on tailored seating, banquettes or fixed cushions where the cool grey tone can balance timber, concrete and darker accents. It also works well in smart, quiet schemes that need a neutral with a little more depth than a flat grey.
