Ballari Flint

Esala FabricSCF0095-03

Ballari Flint pairs a cool flint-grey woven ground with finely drawn ivory leaf forms, arranged in an even, airy repeat. The restrained contrast lets the botanical pattern read clearly without becoming bright or busy.

About this fabric

The fabric shows repeated stylised leaf or fern motifs in a soft ivory tone against a muted flint-grey background, with the woven surface adding subtle texture to the flat colour. Its 24 cm vertical and 26.4 cm horizontal pattern repeats create a medium-scale layout suited to showing the motif across upholstery. At 339 gsm and 138 cm usable width, it has a substantial textile presence for seating and other covered pieces. The stated 80 threads per cm contribute to the close, defined appearance visible in the fine linear leaf detailing.

How to use it

Use Ballari Flint on a sofa, armchair or upholstered bench where its cool grey tone can settle alongside chalky whites, pale timber and brushed metal. The ivory leaf pattern also works well as a measured contrast against deeper charcoal or blue-grey accents.

The cool flint-grey ground and ivory leaf repeat bring a calm, graphic finish to upholstered seating and occasional pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
