About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Tuscany II Weaves collection has a clearly visible open weave that reads crisp and structured rather than smooth. At 344gsm, it has the substance expected of an upholstery-weight cloth, and the 137.5 cm usable width makes it practical for a wide range of interior projects. With no pattern repeat, the focus stays on the subtle texture and the pale grey shading that shifts gently in the light. The overall effect is a calm, modern neutral with enough visual interest to sit comfortably in both simple and layered schemes.

How to use it

Use Mercury on armchairs, banquettes or cushions where you want a cool grey with a tactile, woven character. It pairs especially well with painted timber, pale oak and chalky off-whites.

A cool, versatile grey weave that works beautifully across tailored upholstery schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
