Epsilon Shadow

Esala FabricSCF0096-02

Epsilon Shadow has a cool, misted sage-grey ground traced with fine ivory-white abstract faces and looping line drawings. The low-contrast artwork gives the surface a quiet, graphic rhythm without overwhelming the pale colourway.

About this fabric

This 220gsm Scion fabric has a 138cm usable width and a 60m standard length, making it a practical mid-weight for both upholstery and drapery applications. Its 52cm vertical repeat and 138cm horizontal repeat carry a continuous field of simplified faces, arches and freehand contours across the cloth. In this Shadow colourway, the soft grey-green ground reads cool and subdued, while the pale lines catch the light gently against the lightly textured surface. The 44 threads per cm specification supports the neat, closely made appearance visible in the swatch.

How to use it

Pair the misty sage-grey ground with chalky whites, pale oak and washed stone for a calm contemporary scheme. Use it on a statement chair or relaxed curtains where the ivory linework can remain visible at close range.

Use this cool sage-grey colourway to soften upholstery, cushions or relaxed full-length curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Epsilon Shadow without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
