About this colour

At #CBCCBA, this shade reads as a muted pale grey with a green cast, so it feels cool-leaning without turning cold. It lifts light well on a wall, but the softness of the colour keeps it from feeling bright or stark. In a north-facing room it can look a little more grey and restrained, while in south-facing light the green note comes forward and the colour feels warmer and fresher. It sits neatly beside natural oak, painted joinery in deeper greens, and upholstery in flax, linen, or muted brown tones. In Active Emulsion or Waterbased Eggshell, it keeps the same gentle, chalk-light character on either walls or woodwork.

How to use it
