About this colour

This shade reads as a muted golden yellow with a gentle beige note, so it warms a wall while still keeping some softness in the colour. In north-facing light it can look more restrained and slightly earthy, with the gold tone pulled back by cooler daylight. In south-facing rooms it brightens and becomes more honeyed, lifting the space without glare. It sits well beside pale oak, walnut, and painted joinery in cream or putty, and it gives a pleasing contrast to deep greens, claret, or blue upholstery. In Active Emulsion or Waterbased Eggshell, it suits both walls and woodwork where you want a colour that feels composed and easy to live with.

How to use it
