Birch White Light

2026 Paint PaintSAP1012-44

Birch White Light is a soft, low-contrast off-white with a gentle warmth in its base. In Sanderson’s 2026 Paint range, it reads as a calm pale neutral rather than a stark white.

About this colour

At #ECE8DF, this shade lifts a room without feeling sharp, sitting just off white with a creamy, easy warmth. In north-facing light it can take on a cooler, greyer edge, but it stays soft and settled rather than chalky. In south-facing rooms it warms through more clearly and feels brighter, with the warmth in the colour coming forward. In Active Emulsion or Waterbased Eggshell, it is well suited to walls or woodwork where you want a pale backdrop beside natural oak, painted joinery, or upholstery in deeper greens, taupes, and quiet blues.

How to use it

It suits living rooms, bedrooms, and hallways where you want light on the walls without a stark finish. Pair it with painted skirting, timber trim, and upholstered pieces in linen, damson, olive, or muted navy.

A pale warm off-white that keeps walls light and easy to live with.

Pairs well with

Birch White Light is a wall colour, so these are the cloths that sit against it: one of them on the curtains, the paint behind. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
