About this colour

In #8AADC1, Balmory Blue reads as a muted blue with a gentle sea-glass cast and a reassuring softness on the wall. It reflects light well enough to keep a room open, but the greyed base stops it from feeling crisp or icy. In a north-facing room it can turn cooler and more subdued, bringing out its grey-blue side, while in south light it feels clearer and slightly brighter. It sits neatly beside pale oak, painted joinery, linen-look weaves, and deeper navy or charcoal upholstery, where its softened tone gives those pairings room to breathe. In Active Emulsion or Waterbased Eggshell, it works well on walls or woodwork when you want colour that stays calm and easy to live with.

How to use it
