About this colour

This shade reads as a cool, light grey with just enough depth to stay distinct from white, and the hex value #E3E5E4 gives it a gently softened, almost airy look. It reflects plenty of light, so it can help a room feel broader and less enclosed without looking stark. In a north-facing room it will lean a touch cooler and more silvered, which suits its restrained character. In south-facing light it warms slightly and becomes softer and more forgiving, especially on joinery. It sits neatly beside off-white woodwork, pale oak, and upholstery in stone, sage, or blue-grey tones.

How to use it
