Alchemy White

Alchemy Fabric

Alchemy White has a softly lustrous, pearly surface that catches the light across its rippled folds. The colour reads as a cool, clean white rather than stark bright white.

About this fabric

Woven in 56% Cotton and 44% Polyester, Alchemy White has a balanced handle that makes it suitable for both upholstery and drapery. The 140cm width and plain 0cm pattern repeat give it a practical, easy-to-work format for tailored furnishings. Visually, the swatch shows a subtle textured weave with a gentle sheen and faint silver-grey shadows that appear in the folds, adding depth to the white ground. The overall effect is fresh and smart, with enough softness to stop the colour feeling clinical. Care instructions: BQV1<.

How to use it

Use Alchemy White to soften crisp contemporary schemes, where its pearly tone can sit against pale woods, brushed metal and stone. It also works beautifully on layered curtains or neatly upholstered pieces when you want texture to do the work of pattern.

A quietly luminous white that works well when you want texture without adding strong colour.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
