Alchemy Taupe

Alchemy Fabric

Alchemy Taupe has a softly shimmering surface and a warm sandy-beige taupe tone that shifts gently across the folds. The finish catches the light with a muted lustre rather than a bright shine.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a calm, warm taupe with beige and biscuit undertones, lifted by a subtle sheen that appears more pronounced along the ripples in the cloth. The fabric is composed of 56% Cotton and 44% Polyester, giving it a balanced textile hand with a refined surface finish. At 140cm wide with a pattern repeat of 0cm, it is presented as a usable plain with no recurring motif to interrupt the clean drape. The visible texture has a lightly pebbled, softly woven look that reads smart and versatile rather than heavy or rustic.

How to use it

Use it to soften darker woods, bronze metals, or oatmeal upholstery schemes, where the warm taupe can add depth without feeling stark. It also works well in layered curtain drops or headboards when you want a polished neutral with a little glow.

A softly lustrous taupe that brings warmth and polish to tailored upholstery or elegant curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
