Alchemy Stone

Alchemy Fabric

Alchemy Stone is a soft stone-grey colourway with broad, flowing dark streaks that sit across a gently lustrous ground. The finish feels quietly polished rather than glossy, giving the design a cool, tailored look.

About this fabric

This fabric is supplied in a 56% cotton, 44% polyester composition and has a 140cm width with a 0cm pattern repeat, making the sweeping motif easy to place without matching. In the image, the base reads as a pale stone grey with an understated sheen, while the darker bands have a smoky graphite edge that adds definition. The texture appears smooth with a lightly slubbed character, so the surface catches light softly and the pattern feels fluid rather than heavy. With no performance features noted, it suits considered interior schemes where the colour and movement need to do the work.

How to use it

Use this stone-grey stripe to bring a cool, composed note to relaxed upholstery, cushions, or full-length curtains. It pairs especially well with pale oak, chalk white, and deeper charcoal accents for a clean, layered room scheme.

A calm stone-grey stripe with a subtle sheen that works neatly across upholstery and drapery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Alchemy Stone without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
