About this fabric
Part of the Palermo collection by J Brown, this fabric is a 100% polyester plain with 31 colourways in the design. It is designed for General Domestic use and offers a 25,000 Martindale abrasion result, making it suitable for everyday interiors. The colourway shown is a muted stone grey with a slightly cool cast, sitting between silver and pebble rather than drifting into blue or brown. In the image, the texture appears finely grained and softly brushed-looking, which helps the shade feel calm and understated rather than stark. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, with other treatments available on request, and machine washable at 30 degrees or suitable for professional dry clean in situ.
How to use it
Use Palermo Stone on a tailored sofa, banquette or headboard where its restrained grey tone can anchor the room without overpowering other finishes. It also works well for relaxed curtains or Roman blinds when you want a smart, neutral backdrop with a little surface texture.
