About this fabric

This Palermo colourway is a plain fabric with a fine, slightly textured surface that reads as deep plum with burgundy and wine undertones in the pile. Made from 100% polyester, it is specified for general domestic use and has a Martindale rating of 25,000, making it a practical choice for everyday interiors. The fabric is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, with other treatments available on request, and it can be machine washed at 30 degrees or professionally dry cleaned in situ. The close, even texture gives the colour a subtle sheen in the light, so the shade feels richer and more dimensional than a flat purple.

How to use it

Use this plum tone on an armchair, banquette or ottoman where its darker warmth can add mood without looking harsh. It pairs well with warm neutrals, smoked woods and brass accents for a smart, cocooning finish.
