About this fabric

Part of the Palermo collection by J Brown, this colourway is a 100% polyester fabric with a 25,000 Martindale rub test and general domestic usage. The surface has a fine, even texture that gives the marine blue tone a muted, velvety depth without any visible patterning. In the swatch, the colour sits between ink and midnight blue, making it feel darker and more tailored than a brighter nautical navy. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, and can be machine washed at 30 degrees or professionally dry cleaned in situ, with other treatments available on request.

How to use it

Use Palermo Marine on clean-lined sofas, dining chairs or ottomans where a darker blue will add structure and contrast. It pairs especially well with pale oak, brushed brass and crisp white for a sharper, contemporary finish.

A dark, practical navy with a subtle surface texture that works well on tailored upholstery.
