About this fabric

This colourway from the Odyssey collection is a plain design with a smooth, low-relief finish that lets the shade do the work. In Sapphire, the fabric appears cool and richly saturated, with darker and lighter blue shifts that catch the light without breaking the overall depth. It is made from 100% polyester and specified for contract use, with a Martindale rating of 50,000, so it is well suited to demanding interiors. The back-coated finish is supplied to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, and other treatments are available upon request. Professional dry clean in situ is recommended, with further care guidance in the pattern book.

How to use it

Use this sapphire tone to anchor banquettes, reception seating or smart accent chairs where a strong blue is wanted without shine. It pairs especially well with pale oak, brushed brass and soft greys, which help the colour read crisp and tailored.
