About this fabric

Poiret Sapphire from Ashley Wilde’s Visage Collection is a 100% polyester fabric made for drapes only, with a width of 140cm and a small 4.5cm vertical by 3cm horizontal repeat. The weave creates a sharply defined chevron-like surface that catches the light in fine ridges, giving the blue a layered, slightly smoky depth. Its sapphire tone feels cool and saturated, with darker shadowing between the pattern peaks and a subtle lift on the raised areas. At 280gsm, it has enough substance to hang with presence while still reading as a drapery cloth rather than an upholstery weight.

How to use it

This colourway works well in schemes with pale walls, polished timber and brushed metal, where the deep blue pattern can add structure without overwhelming the room. It is especially effective for full-length curtains in a study, bedroom or sitting room.

Use for tailored curtains where the dark blue zigzag texture can add quiet depth.
