Palace Weave Sapphire

Palace Weave Sapphire is a closely woven textile with a deep, blue-black sapphire ground and a minute chevron pattern. Small lighter flecks move across the surface, giving the dark colour a quietly textured, tailored appearance.

About this fabric
This colourway reads as a cool, saturated sapphire softened by charcoal depth, with the fine zigzag weave catching the light in tiny alternating highlights. Its 137 cm width suits curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. The composition combines 4% polyester, 45% viscose, 35% cotton and 16% linen, creating the varied fibre character visible across the tightly patterned surface. A 26,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on upholstered seating, while the close-scale design remains restrained rather than decorative.
How to use it
Use the blue-black sapphire tone on a tailored armchair, sofa or headboard where its small chevron texture can add depth without introducing a large motif. It also gives curtains or a bedspread a crisp, architectural finish against pale stone, warm ivory or deep timber tones.
The deep sapphire ground and fine chevron weave bring tailored colour and subtle texture to upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Pairs well with
Palace Weave Sapphire is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
