Bradbourne Indigo

Langdale FabricBF10533.680

Bradbourne Indigo pairs a deep, cool indigo ground with orderly vertical stems of pale blue-grey leaves. The dark ground gives the botanical motif a particularly crisp, graphic presence.

About this fabric

The fabric has a subtly irregular, linen-like surface, visible beneath repeated leafy branches that run in narrow vertical columns. Its composition is 64% Linen, 30% Polyester and 6% Viscose, supplied at 125 cm (49.11") wide. The design has a 20 cm (7.86") vertical pattern repeat and a 15 cm (5.89") horizontal repeat, keeping the botanical rhythm clearly defined across the cloth. Suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, it has a 14,000 Martindale rub test.

How to use it

Use the cool, near-black indigo as a grounding shade on a reading chair, headboard or full-length curtain, allowing the pale blue-grey leaves to read as a fine vertical accent. It works especially well with chalky neutrals, weathered timber and brushed metal.

A cool indigo ground and pale leafy stripes bring tailored botanical character to upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
