About this fabric

At 300 gsm, Alvar Indigo has the substance of a versatile mid-weight fabric suitable for both upholstery and drapery. The 144 cm usable width offers practical coverage for furnishing projects. Both the vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are 0 cm, consistent with the swatch’s non-directional, all-over tonal texture. Close up, the indigo ground reads as softly clouded rather than flat, with subtle blue-grey variation catching across the surface.

How to use it

Use this cool, deep indigo on an occasional chair, headboard or full-length curtain where its smoky tonal depth can anchor paler neutrals. Pair it with chalky whites, weathered timber or muted blue-grey accents to keep the scheme atmospheric rather than high-contrast.
