Beauvoir Indigo

Latour FabricCCF0079-03

Beauvoir Indigo brings a deep, cool indigo ground to the Latour collection, broken up by pale blue and off-white threads. Its close, irregular weave gives the surface a richly mottled appearance rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric

The dense woven texture is visibly built from fine, varied flecks and crosshatched marks, creating movement across the dark blue surface. At 621gsm, Beauvoir Indigo has the substantial handle expected of an upholstery fabric, with a usable width of 142cm. The design repeats every 49cm vertically and 34.5cm horizontally, while the standard length is 40m. In this colourway, the inky indigo reads cool and architectural, with lighter threads catching the eye and softening its depth.

How to use it

Use Beauvoir Indigo on a tailored sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its cool inky tone can anchor a room. Pair it with chalky whites, pale timber and brushed metal to bring out the blue and off-white flecks in the weave.

A substantial indigo upholstery cloth whose pale woven flecks add depth to tailored seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
