Beauvoir Taupe

Latour FabricCCF0079-08

Beauvoir Taupe has a warm, pale taupe ground with fine cream and grey flecks woven into a compact, softly gridded surface. Its close texture gives the colour gentle depth rather than a flat, uniform appearance.

About this fabric

The 621gsm construction reads as a substantial upholstery cloth, with a tightly packed weave visible across the swatch. Warm beige-taupe threads are interrupted by lighter cream and cooler grey points, creating a softly mottled finish that changes subtly as the light moves across it. Although the design appears understated at close range, its supplied pattern repeat measures 49cm vertically by 34.5cm horizontally. The fabric has a 142cm usable width and a standard length of 40m.

How to use it

Use Beauvoir Taupe on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its warm, muted depth can soften darker timber and sit comfortably beside ivory, stone and weathered grey accents. Its fine flecked texture also gives plain cushions and throws a little tonal variation without introducing a strong motif.

A softly flecked taupe weave with enough visual texture to bring quiet depth to upholstered pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
