About this fabric

This colourway has a muted stone-like warmth, sitting between beige and taupe rather than reading as a cool grey. The plain surface is enlivened by closely spaced horizontal threads and a gentle chenille softness, giving the fabric subtle tonal depth across the swatch. At 456 gsm and 137 cm wide, it has the substantial handle expected of an upholstery fabric. With 69 threads per centimetre and a 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, it offers a continuous, unobtrusive ground for upholstered forms.

How to use it

Use this warm taupe shade on sofas, occasional chairs or a bedhead where a quiet neutral is needed without a flat, lifeless finish. Pair it with chalky creams, natural timber and softly aged metal to bring out its stone-like warmth.
