About this fabric

The swatch shows a cool mid-grey with a subtle taupe cast, built from tightly packed threads that create a quiet crosshatched texture instead of a printed design. At close range, the fine weave catches the light unevenly, giving the plain surface gentle depth without a visible motif. Weighing 456 gsm and offering a 137 cm usable width, it has the substantial profile expected of an upholstery textile. The 69 threads per cm contribute to its compact appearance, while the 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats allow straightforward cutting without design matching.

How to use it

Use Jaipur Storm on a tailored sofa, dining chair or headboard where its cool grey tone can anchor warmer timber, stone and softly coloured textiles. Its low-contrast woven texture also suits calm, modern rooms that need depth without a bold pattern.

The cool storm-grey tone and dense chenille texture make this a composed choice for upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
