About this fabric

Jaipur Teal is a dense chenille with a close, softly irregular surface: the image shows a dark blue-green ground enlivened by subtle shifts between cooler and brighter teal threads. At 456 gsm and 137 cm usable width, it has the substance and compact texture suited to upholstery. The supplied 69 threads per cm helps explain its finely woven appearance, while the 0 cm vertical and horizontal repeats identify it as an unpatterned surface rather than a motif-led design. Supplied in a standard 35 m length, it provides a continuous, plain-textured teal field for upholstered pieces.

How to use it

Use this cool, deep teal on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its dark blue-green tone can anchor lighter walls and warm timber. Pair it with aged brass, pale wood or soft ivory textiles to bring contrast to the dense chenille texture.
