Cubis Peacock

Kaleidoscope FabricCCF0337-05

Cubis Peacock brings a cool, graphic rhythm to the Kaleidoscope collection, with peacock teal and deep blue stripes interrupting pale woven blocks. Its textured surface gives the compact geometric design visible depth and variation.

About this fabric

This 701gsm fabric is a substantial choice for upholstery, with a 137cm usable width and a 25m standard length. The design is formed from repeated rectangular blocks and narrow vertical stripes in peacock teal, blue, olive, soft grey and warm ivory, creating a measured cubist effect rather than a flat stripe. The vertical pattern repeat is 5.8cm and the horizontal repeat is 17.4cm, keeping the motif relatively compact across a chair, sofa or headboard. In the swatch, the teal and blue threads read as cool saturated accents against the lighter ground, while the raised woven texture softens their contrast.

How to use it

Use Cubis Peacock to upholster a statement chair or contemporary sofa, then echo its cool teal and blue with pale grey upholstery, ivory walls and natural oak. Olive flecks in the weave also give scope for muted green accessories without making the scheme feel overly matched.

Use this weighty geometric weave on occasional chairs, sofas or headboards, pairing its cool peacock tones with pale neutrals and warm timber.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Cubis Peacock without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
