About this fabric

This plain chenille reads as a light warm taupe, with a restrained rosy-beige depth that keeps the colour softer than a true brown. Its fine, closely set weave creates a lightly flecked surface, while the chenille construction gives the face a quiet, tactile softness visible across the swatch. At 456gsm, it has the substantial weight suited to upholstery, and its 137cm usable width supports efficient cutting on furniture projects. The design has a 0cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, so there is no motif to align.

How to use it

Use Jaipur Putty on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its warm taupe tone can soften deeper timber, cream or muted clay accents. Its plain surface also works well alongside a small-scale patterned cushion without introducing competing colour or repeat.
