Prismatic Weave Serpentine

Antiquary FabricZOF0159-01

Prismatic Weave Serpentine is shown here in a deep blue-teal colourway, with fine vertical striations running through its woven surface. The closely layered blue and green tones create a cool, shifting depth as the light moves across the cloth.

About this fabric

This woven fabric has a predominantly blue-teal ground, threaded with darker and brighter vertical bands that give the surface a gently variegated, almost striated appearance. At 253gsm, it has a versatile mid-weight suitable for both upholstery and drapery. The fabric has a 133.5cm usable width and a 192 threads-per-centimetre construction, while the stated pattern repeat measures 84.7cm vertically by 66.5cm horizontally. Its dense linear texture keeps the deep colour tailored rather than flat, with turquoise-leaning highlights visible between the darker teal channels.

How to use it

Use this cool blue-teal colourway on a contemporary armchair, headboard or full-length curtain where its vertical texture can add height and depth. Pair it with charcoal, smoked glass and pale timber, or use warm brass accents to balance its cooler cast.

The deep blue-teal ground and fine vertical striations bring cool colour and tailored texture to upholstery, curtains or blinds.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Prismatic Weave Serpentine without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
