About this fabric

Wicked Kingfisher from Warwick’s Wicked collection is a fabric for upholstery, woven in 43% Viscose, 33% Cotton and 24% Polyester. The cloth has a 137 cm width and a 45,000 Martindale rub test, which suits it to hard-working seating as well as decorative statement pieces. Visually, the colourway reads as a cool, dark teal with charcoal depth, while the zigzag pattern lifts in slightly lighter threads for a textural contrast. The surface appears neatly structured rather than plush, with the chevron motif giving the fabric a crisp, tailored look.

How to use it

Use Wicked Kingfisher on an armchair, ottoman or banquette where its dark teal tone can anchor the room. It pairs especially well with walnut, smoked oak and warm brass, which bring out the cooler green notes in the weave.

A rich teal zigzag that adds depth to tailored upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Wicked Kingfisher without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
