Grease Teal

Grease Fabric

Grease Teal has a cool, muted teal ground with a slightly washed, greyed finish that softens the bold geometric repeat. The darker linear pattern sits clearly across the surface, giving the swatch a measured, contemporary rhythm.

About this fabric

This Warwick fabric is composed of 45% Viscose, 35% Polyester and 20% Cotton, with a 137 cm width and a Martindale rub test of 50,000, so it is well suited to upholstery use. The visible design reads as a medium-scale geometric pattern, with fine dark lines tracing the repeat over a teal base that has been subdued with grey. The colourway feels cool rather than bright, and the textured weave gives it a practical, tactile look that works especially well on furniture with clean edges. Its 17.5 cm horizontal by 22 cm vertical repeat will show the pattern clearly on larger upholstered pieces.

How to use it

Use Grease Teal on an armchair, bench or ottoman where the geometric structure can be seen, and pair it with pale oak, charcoal or brushed brass. The muted teal tone brings colour without shouting, making it a good choice for rooms that need interest with a restrained finish.

Best on tailored upholstery where the subdued teal and dark linear pattern can add depth without overpowering the room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
