About this fabric

Woven at 509gsm, this substantial Clarke & Clarke fabric is well suited to upholstery. Its 139cm usable width and 40m standard length provide practical coverage for larger furnishing projects. The close weave appears softly slubbed, with delicate vertical lines and a lightly weathered texture visible across the eau de nil ground. With a 0cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, it offers a continuous, plain-seeming surface rather than a repeating design.

How to use it

Use this cool, muted aqua-teal on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its softly striated texture can add interest without introducing a strong pattern. Pair it with chalky neutrals, pale timber and brushed metal to preserve its light, airy character.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
