About this fabric

From Sanderson’s Tuscany II Weaves collection, this fabric is a substantial 344gsm cloth with a usable width of 137.5 cm and no visible pattern repeat. The weave reads as compact and heavily textured, with small flecks of lighter and darker yarn creating a subtle heathered effect across the surface. In this Newby Green colourway, the tone sits between blue-green and jade, feeling cool, saturated and distinctly contemporary rather than earthy. At 56 threads per cm, it presents a finely worked structure that should hold shape well for upholstery applications.

How to use it

This deep teal works beautifully on an occasional chair, ottoman or banquette where its colour can stand out against pale walls or timber. Pair it with chalky neutrals, brass details or smoky blues for a layered, tailored scheme.

Use to add a rich, grounded hit of colour to tailored seating or panels.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
