About this fabric

The cool teal ground carries an all-over arrangement of airborne birds, curling cloud-like shapes and dotted ornamental trails. Pale grey and cream wings stand out clearly, while red, coral, mustard and navy details add warmth and colour to the otherwise shadowy palette. A fine, even surface weave is visible beneath the detailed design, giving the swatch a quietly tactile textile character. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this deep teal colourway where you want pattern with an atmospheric, woodland-inspired depth: it would make expressive curtains, cushions or a statement upholstered chair. Balance the darker ground with warm timber, aged brass and pale neutral accents to pick out the birds’ cream and red detailing.

Use this deep teal colourway to bring an atmospheric, illustrated character to curtains, cushions or occasional upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Bolton Large Colour 9 without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
