About this fabric

The densely patterned ground combines olive and khaki-green tones with pale sage scrolls edged in small dotted details. Each pheasant brings a concentrated flash of colour, with deep blue heads, russet and ochre bodies, cream wings and layered charcoal-grey feathers. The large-scale composition reads clearly in the close view, while the fine, even woven surface keeps the image tactile rather than glossy. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this olive colourway on a statement armchair, ottoman or upholstered headboard, pairing it with warm timber, aged brass and plain textiles in cream, russet or charcoal.

Use this olive, bird-patterned cloth to bring richly illustrated character to an upholstered chair, headboard or sofa.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Bolton Large Colour 8 without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
