Mitchell Glen

Mitchell FabricMITCHGLEN

Mitchell Glen has a quiet moss-olive tone, closely woven with a softly irregular texture that gives the surface gentle depth. Its restrained green colouring reads earthy and settled rather than bright.

About this fabric

The fabric is built from a dense, nubby weave with small horizontal and vertical irregularities visible across the swatch. Olive, moss and muted khaki-green threads blend together, creating a softly flecked surface instead of a flat single colour. Light catches the raised yarns in tiny highlights, while the deeper green recesses add definition to the overall cloth. The tactile, compact appearance makes this colourway particularly suited to upholstery where a relaxed, natural finish is wanted.

How to use it

Pair Mitchell Glen with warm timber, natural linen and softly aged leather to reinforce its earthy moss-green character. It would bring calm depth to an armchair, headboard or tailored sofa without introducing a strong decorative pattern.

Use this softly mottled moss-olive weave to bring grounded colour and tactile depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
