Raffles Spot 1

Decadence FabricRAFFLESCOL1

Raffles Spot 1 combines a pale olive-taupe ground with rounded mushroom-brown spots in a compact, softly lustrous weave. The close-set motif gives the swatch a gentle organic rhythm rather than a stark geometric effect.

About this fabric

The colour reads as a muted yellowed olive-grey, lifted by pale cream threads and deepened with mushroom-brown spotting. Each rounded spot is edged by a lighter woven contour, creating a subtle dimensional effect across the surface. Fine intersecting threads remain visible at close range, giving the textile a softly grainy hand and restrained sheen. In the photographed swatch, the darker upper area gradually gives way to a lighter olive field, adding depth without making the colourway feel bold.

How to use it

Use this pale olive-taupe colourway to soften warm neutral schemes, pairing it with natural oak, aged brass and cream upholstery. Its small rounded spots also work well as a textural contrast to plain linen or boucle.

The softly mottled olive-taupe ground brings a quiet, textural character to upholstery, cushions or relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
