Bowland Large Colour 1

Pudsays Leap FabricBWLNDLRGCOL1

Bowland Large Colour 1 brings a cool teal-blue ground to a lively scenic repeat of flying ducks and rounded flowering trees. The layered illustration gives the colourway depth, while the restrained blue palette keeps its overall impression calm.

About this fabric

The teal-blue background is crossed by pale blue-green water lines and delicate grassy marks, creating a distinctly waterside setting. Flying ducks provide the strongest contrast, with grey-brown bodies, dark green heads and small flashes of orange and blue at the wings and bills. The clustered flowering trees are built from overlapping circular blooms, outlined in darker blue-grey for a softly graphic, dimensional effect. This is catalogued as a fabric, with no performance features noted in the supplied specification.

How to use it

Pair the cool muted teal with chalky blue, weathered grey and natural timber for a relaxed country room. Use the large repeat on curtains or an occasional chair where the ducks and flowering trees can be properly seen.

Use the muted teal ground to bring a cool, illustrated woodland-and-water feel to seating, cushions or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
