Alaska Aqua shows a cool, softly mottled aqua teal with a muted matte surface. The plain weave gives it a clean, understated look that feels calm rather than bright.

About this fabric

This colourway in the Alaska Collection by Ashley Wilde is a 100% polyester fabric specified for Severe Contract Upholstery And Drapes, with a 45,000 Severe Contract rub test and a 146cm width. Visually, Alaska Aqua reads as a gentle blue-green with a greyed, seaside undertone rather than a vivid turquoise. The surface has a subtle textile grain that softens the colour and keeps the finish looking relaxed and practical. At 438 grams per linear metre and 300 grams per square metre, it sits in a substantial mid-to-heavy category suited to demanding interiors.

How to use it

Use Alaska Aqua on a tailored sofa, banquette or full-length drapes where its cool teal note can bring freshness without shouting. It works especially well with sand, chalk white and weathered timber.

Pair it with pale oak or crisp white for a calm, contemporary scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
