Dakota Aqua

Dakota Collection FabricDAKOTA

Dakota Aqua shows a cool, softly washed teal-aqua tone with a gentle horizontal striation across the surface. The finish looks calm and slightly mottled, giving the plain a quiet depth rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric

This fabric is a 100% polyester design from the Dakota Collection and is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a 60,000 severe contract rub test result. At 147cm wide and 300gsm, it sits in a versatile mid-weight category that can comfortably suit both seating and window treatments. The surface visible here has a subtle textured grain with fine linear breaks, so the aqua reads as layered and lightly weathered rather than glossy or bright. Its Spanish origin and plain, textured style make it a practical choice where a clean colour needs a bit of surface interest.

How to use it

Use this soft aqua teal to brighten contemporary upholstery, especially against pale oak, white, or brushed metal. It also works well as drapery in a cool-toned scheme, where the muted depth helps soften daylight.

A fresh aqua with a subtle texture that works well on clean-lined seating or simple curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
