Dakota Collection FabricDAKOTA

Dakota Peacock is a deep, blue-leaning teal with a soft, subtly striated surface that gives the colour real movement. The swatch reads as rich and composed rather than bright, with a cool peacock tone that settles beautifully under light.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, Dakota Peacock is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a 60,000 rub test and a substantial 300gsm weight. The cloth has a plain, textured look rather than a printed pattern, and the visible surface shows fine horizontal flecking that softens the depth of the teal. At 147cm wide, it is a practical choice for larger-scale upholstery projects as well as curtains and contract installations. The colour sits between blue and green, but in this colourway it feels especially cool and muted, with darker shaded areas that give the fabric a tailored, professional finish.

How to use it

Use Dakota Peacock on a clean-lined sofa, banquette, or headboard to bring in colour without losing a smart, architectural feel. It also works well as full-length drapery where the deep teal tone can add contrast against pale walls, oak, or brushed metal accents.

A rich peacock teal that adds depth and polish to contemporary upholstery and tailored curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
