About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, Dakota Marine is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a 60,000 rub test that suits hard-working interiors. The swatch shows a deep marine blue ground with muted lighter and darker striations running through the texture, giving the surface a gently weathered, tactile appearance. At 147cm wide and 300gsm, it has the substance to hold its shape while still working across both seating and window treatments. Made in Spain, this is a practical plain with a refined, smart finish rather than a glossy or highly decorative one.

How to use it

Use Dakota Marine where you want a cooler blue that feels composed rather than bright, such as a tailored armchair, banquette or structured curtain. It pairs well with pale oak, chalky neutrals and brushed metal finishes that let the depth of the colour stand out.
