About this fabric
The swatch shows a cool, saturated peacock teal base filled with overlapping palm leaves and finely spaced frond lines in ochre-gold. The contrast is rich but controlled, with the dark ground giving the botanical pattern depth while the lighter marks catch the eye. At 325 gsm and 146 threads per cm, the fabric has a substantial specification suited to versatile interior use. It is 140 cm wide, with a generous 73 cm vertical and 70 cm horizontal pattern repeat, and is supplied in a standard 25 m length.
How to use it
Use Mala Peacock on a statement chair, ottoman or full-height curtains where its deep teal ground can anchor a room. Echo the ochre fronds with aged brass, tan leather or warm timber rather than pairing it with similarly cool neutrals.
Pair the cool peacock teal ground with warm ochre, natural timber and brass accents for a balanced botanical scheme.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Mala Peacock without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
