Salinas Blossom/Laurel

Salinas Prints And Weaves FabricHAF0336-04

Salinas Blossom/Laurel places slender pink flamingos across a muted laurel-olive ground, with pale painterly marks giving the surface a softly weathered character. The cool, understated colourway feels calm rather than brightly tropical.

About this fabric

The olive background shifts gently between pale sage and deeper laurel tones, while blush and dusty rose flamingos provide the defining colour contrast. Each bird is drawn with fine legs, curved necks and striped, brush-like feather markings, set among loose horizontal strokes and small pale flecks. At 320 gsm with 187 threads per cm, this is a substantial mid-weight textile that suits both upholstery and drapery. Its 130 cm usable width and 25.4 cm vertical by 34.5 cm horizontal repeat give the repeating motif a clear but not oversized rhythm.

How to use it

Pair the muted olive ground with natural wood, chalky cream and aged brass for a gentle, collected scheme. Dusty pink cushions or a warm neutral sofa will pick up the flamingos without competing with the softly layered background.

Use this soft olive flamingo print for relaxed upholstery, blinds or full-length curtains with warm pink accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
