Kirikai Meadow

Sgraffito II FabricHAF0618-05

Kirikai Meadow combines a muted olive-green ground with a fine cream zigzag weave. The closely spaced pattern gives the surface a softly textured, directional appearance rather than a bold graphic effect.

About this fabric

This substantial 450gsm textile has a dense woven handle, with 53 threads per centimetre contributing to its finely worked surface. Olive green forms the dominant tone, while narrow cream lines trace the small chevron pattern and catch the light across the cloth. The repeat measures just 2cm vertically and horizontally, creating an even, finely scaled rhythm suitable for covering larger upholstered forms without appearing oversized. At 140cm wide, it offers practical coverage for upholstery projects.

How to use it

Use the cool, muted olive tone on a sofa, armchair or dining chair where the cream chevron can add discreet movement without competing with stronger furniture shapes. Pair it with warm timber, chalky neutrals or aged brass to bring out the green’s softened depth.

A dense olive-and-cream chevron weave that brings quiet pattern and texture to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
