Cestino Monochrome has a densely textured, almost bouclé-like surface in charcoal, black and soft ivory. Irregular vertical rows create a softly mottled appearance, with pale slubs catching the light against the dark ground.

About this fabric

At 780 gsm, this is a substantial textile with the visual and tactile presence expected of an upholstery cloth. The monochrome palette moves between deep charcoal, near-black and chalky ivory, giving the surface a cool, mineral quality rather than a warm beige cast. Its irregular raised yarns form broken vertical columns instead of a conventional motif, while the 27 threads per cm construction adds to the closely woven appearance. Cestino Monochrome has a usable width of 138 cm, a standard length of 25 m and no stated vertical or horizontal pattern repeat.

How to use it

Use this dark charcoal-and-ivory colourway on a tailored sofa, statement armchair or dining chair where its nubby relief can add depth without introducing a strong printed pattern. Pair it with warm timber and softened white, or use it against black accents for a more graphic monochrome scheme.
