Cestino Sediment

Sgraffito II FabricHAF0107-02

Cestino Sediment has a softly weathered, irregular grid woven in chalky cream, taupe, charcoal and occasional pale blue and blush tones. Its tactile surface gives the colourway a quiet, layered depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

The pattern is formed from small broken checks and uneven horizontal and vertical bars, with dark charcoal flecks softened by warm beige, dusty pink and pale blue accents. Creamy threads sit visibly over and between the coloured marks, creating a nubby, woven texture that catches the light gently. With a substantial weight of 780 gsm and a usable width of 138 cm, this fabric is well suited to upholstery. The supplied specification records a 27 threads-per-centimetre construction, with no pattern repeat vertically or horizontally.

How to use it

Use this muted Sediment colourway on a sofa, armchair or dining chair where its cream and taupe base can warm a neutral scheme, while the charcoal, blue and blush flecks pick up quieter accent colours.

A substantial, softly textured woven suited to upholstered seating where its muted, irregular grid can add depth without dominating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
